SKIN Product Review: Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

As much as I love my hair...I love my skin too--actually more.

So occasionally when I stumble across a new product or regimen-- I must share. My friend Tonya is a health, vitamin, herb ..you name it- guru. Mention any aliment you have or improvement to your hair or skin that you want to make and she's got the prescription. Natural prescription that is. We were talking recently and I complained about how I've spent loads of money for years on high end products for my hair and skin that didn't work more than they did. And within the past few years I've learned that coconut oil, lemon juice, castor oil etc have unbelievable hair and skin healing and improvement properties. Worse, I looked at the ingredients of many of those overpriced products and the naturals I just mentioned are the base ingredient in most. Have I been horns waggled? Maybe but if purchasing all those products has brought me to this point...oh well, I've enjoyed the journey.

Back to Tonya...so she introduced me to Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. Where have I been? Oh I know where, laying on the table getting a facial and spending $60-$100. I know my esthetician has used this stuff on my face before-or something like it- and applied it with a brush. This stuff is great. I mixed mine with organic ACV until it was pasty and applied. I could feel the tightening of my face and the drawing feeling everyone talks about. After 30 min. I rinsed and applied my aloe vera moisturizer and grape seed oil and ohh-wee I had the softest most glowing skin I've seen in awhile. It's not expensive either...like $7.00 a jar and it lasts forever. Try it once a week and you won't be mad you did. Below are some additional recipes I found.

Recipes to help lower your stress

1. Father Kneipp's Original Recipe Mix equal parts of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay with apple cider vinegar (raw, organic is best) in a bowl. You should use glass, plastic or wooden bowls and spoons - no metal! Apply to face and/or body and allow to dry up to 45 minutes. Rinse well with warm water only.

2. Antioxidant Mask Mix equal parts of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay with brewed GREEN TEA and 500 mg. of Vitamin C with bioflavonoids (open up a capsule). Apply to skin, allow to dry and rinse. *Green Tea is currently being studied for its antioxidant, antibacterial, and cancer killing properties.

3. Foot Facial Mix equal parts of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay with brewed Pau d'Arco Tea and 5 drops of Tea Tree Oil. Apply to feet, especially in between the toes, let dry 30 minutes and rinse well in warm water.
